Yay!!! I have been updating on myspace blogs lately - so my apologies for not updating this thing!
We had our engagement picture session and got our pictures back! They are GORGEOUS!!! We are going to post our favorites - but there are well over 100 great shots!!! We went to two places - Pearsons Falls and Biltmore Estate.

I like to lead a spontaneous life the majority of the time. As long as I have a few constants, everything else around me is always fluid. Last Sunday between 1 and 5 was a particularly nasty breed of boredom, so I decided to make it fun.
I decided I wanted to see the off-roads of towns nearby I havent seen. Most people stick to what is familiar. They take the same route to school everyday, take the same path to class, use the same pen for writing, etc etc. Well - I wanted to venture to the unfamiliar. So I made it a game. Dave, Mike, and myself piled into Mike's car (trust me, that was part of the adventure) - and started driving. We took turns - Mike, then me, then Dave - and at every stop sign, stop light, or highway exit the person who's turn it was made the decision on which way to go. It was quite possibly the funnest experience ever. If it was your turn, you could choose to turn at any time before the next stop sign/light - but had to choose at it. I have been hailed throughout my entire circle of friends as the ONLY person who could ever find a trailer park in Tega Cay, SC. Its pretty much unheard of. And the road I took to get there, completely random. But yes - we ended up in Tega Cay... and beyond.
I always choose the most random roads, but some of the gorgeous views. Extremely old and gorgeous houses in need of repair - perfect picture moments. A crystal blue man made lake with a bridge - stunning. And somehow, much to Mike's disdain, I always randomly chose the way AWAY from Charlotte. And somehow, we ALWAYS ended up back on South Tryon. lol.
It was just an awesome day. We went to church in the morning, then got lost among nature's beauty. Then went to the Sports Bar with friends to watch the Buffalo game, then game night without some other friends. It was a great Sunday!!! <3 |

This is just for preservation purposes. Dave posted this really really sweet survey on his myspace page right after he proposed to me. For our 5.5 yr anniversary tomorrow he said he was going to switch it out with a new one. I cant wait to read it. ;p

I think the last time I posted was in March, which stinks because it will throw my calendar off. Lol. Ah well! So much for every other month posting. This year has flown by, I hope next year doesnt fly by as fast. :)
Wedding update for those people that care. :p We have our ceremony/reception hall place complete with deposit. We have our photographers complete with deposit. We have our save the dates. We have our colors. We have our table centerpieces and we are making a custom cake stand. We are 95% on his awesome wedding band. :) Thats my favorite part. And we planned a location and time for our engagement pictures. YAYNESS!!!!! oh oh oh oh and we have our honeymoon location picked out. And where we are staying. And our excursions. LOLZ.
Yes - I know its (barely) over a year away. haha. But you know what?! NO STRESS IN THIS HOUSEHOLD!!!! Me and Dave decided that we were just going to spend an hour or two on Sundays and knock out one major thing every month (or two in the case of the photographer). People can call it picky or anal. I call it an awesome wedding with no stress and keeping within budget. I have time to bargain shop. hahahahahahaha. :D So boo to all you haters. <3 I refuse to be a bridezilla, Dave likes to participate, and we have fun doing it. So ha.
In other news - Dave and I are going to Buffalo this weekend for his ten year high school reunion! I was really looking forward to it, but I dont know if I am now. Kerri isnt going so the only person I will really know is Angela - which is cool, but there is strength in numbers. They havent even registered yet, so if they dont go I wont know anyone besides Dave. I make friends easily, so I am sure I will be fine. :) Becca doesnt live in NY anymore, and its supposed to be raining the whole time. Boooo. Still though - a weekend off with Dave doing something out of town will always be fun!

Well, its about time for my bi-monthly update. :) I graduated college. <3 YAYYYYYY. Got my bachelors degree. It is seriously about time. lol. Dad, Gramps, and Joan came down to watch me walk that Friday. Sunday, Dave went and got me an engagement ring and proposed to me that Tuesday. He totally asked my dad first and did everything perfectly. He proposed in the snow outside my dads house when it was just me and him goofing around building an igloo and cute snow-objects. <3 My dad announced it to the family on Christmas and it was so very fairy-tale like.
Since then its been a whirlwind. Our businesses are really starting to take off and everything is still quite perfect. I had to get my ring appraised for insurance reasons... HOLY MOTHER OF CRAP! It was like ridiculous. Dave paid a lot, but still got a hella deal compared to its appraisal. And I mean, a lot. He paid. Lol. I told him I didnt need this big thing and he could take it back and get me something smaller, but he refused and I look at it everyday and smile. He said I deserve the best, especially since I will be wearing it for the rest of my life. And it really is the best. Its a peerless diamond from Jerad. OMG. I didnt think it was possible to love him more than I already did. lol.
Well life has been busy with work and the business and trying to find some place in Asheville we like that can hold 100 people inside on a lake. For less than 10k, so no Biltmore House or anything. lol. Hopefully by my next update I can report to you the place we are getting married. Hopefully. <3333333

Another update to no-one. I am at work and dont feel like working. At all. And since I have friends from work on my myspace and facebook, I am blogging on livejournal! YAYYYYYY
Since the last udpate - I went up to Boston for dad's birthday and it was WAY fun! Totally awesome. Me and David (and Mike temporarily) moved into our new house! It is FREAKING AWESOME! Pics on my myspace page. :) Made my myspace page public. Became friends with Becca on myspace. Moved cubes in the office. Spent the night at Tracys volunarily :o

Me and David went to our first bridal show last tuesday night. David owns his own business now. I am so proud of him. He is doing really awesome too. Everything is just perfect.

Since only one of my friends actually uses this thing anymore (Roe) and everyone has switched over to my myspace blogs, this is more for myself than anyone else. :) It is nice to have a journal that is easy to search for and lasts forever. searching back through myspace journals is such a task, but a lot more people read them.
me and david are moving into our first "Real" house on October 15! I say "Real" in quotes cause we did live in the trailor behind tracy's for a little bit, but that was hardly a real home... it was a broken down leaky box with rotted out floors. Ewwwwwww. anyways, we are super excited about that!
I graduate from college next week! Yayyyyyy. Bachelor of Arts. <3 It is merely a piece of paper now since I am staying at my somewhat unrelated job. I love my job and it pays REALLY well. <3 REALLY. So I wont be leaving it anytime soon - gotta pay off those student loans man! lol. I thought about taking part time classes at the community college so I could get pell grant to help me pay off my big loans. How messed up with that be? Taking money from the government to pay off the government. Lol. Sounds good to me!
Going up to Boston in October for daddy's 50th birthday. That should be fun! Dad has been wanting to take us to King Richards Fair for years upon years, and this year he will finally be able to! Hannah's wedding is next month, and scottie is getting married on my dad's birthday! Everyone in the old group is getting married (well, brian got married and divorced already... lol). me and david pretty much set a date in 2010... gives us time to save up some money and get situated here. We want to do the wedding thing super right and big and two years gives us some good time. Right now its set for Sep 25, 2010. I am super excited. We even found the place where we want to do it at.
Anyways, that is enough writing.. gotta go do real work now. <3 |

I write in here all the time, but none of my friends use livejournal anymore. I dont know why I put it on private, some of these things in my life are really awesome and exciting and should be shared to the random person that has no life, is bored like me, and stumbles through this page. :)
Me+Dave = still together. Happily. I cant remember if I wrote about his birthday. *looks back* ya i did. Hey, it was public too. Cool.
Dave came on livejournal the other day to read my stuff. I was like yayyyyyyyyyy. A reader! :) Myspace is pretty much my life now. And myspace blogs. I really only come on livejournal to bitch or talk about really really cool happy things. :)
I am on here now, cause myspace is sucking. no new surveys to take. no bulletins. and i have already written my daily blog. i write a blog every single day about what happened that day. almost every single day. like 99%. ya.
I have a new friend. Well, old friend, turned enemy, turned bestie friend. <3 She sent me a message one day randomly and was like... did you know ..... ? and i was like, ya. and she added me as a friend. and i was like..... ok..... and we started talking. tis coolio.

OMG YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. how could i not have mentioned it before this? I signed up for my motorcycle safety class! <3 I am totally gonna own on the bike i want. This time around I will have a bike that fits my size. Boo for not have a license last time and only a permit. The motorcycle license lasts as long as your real license, but since i just had the permit it expired after a year. boooooooooooo. so i have to retake everything. :/ Will be good though! My honda was nice, but i cant wait to get a kawasaki. <3333333333

So, David went to Jerad. He bought me this gorgeous ruby and diamond heart ring with insurance for life! It is freaking gorgeous! <3 I love it! :p
So we actually spent the first 8 hours of our anniversary/his birthday/st patricks day, trying to finish my final for this morning. I bought him breakfast at Dunkin Donuts for his birthday! Then I went to class, for the whole 2 hours we were there, came home and updated my myspace. Then he took a nap. Then he opened up my presents to him! I got him a PSP, a bunch of games/movies, external speakers, batteries, and a pretty decent sized gift card to play n trade so he can go get whatever else he wants. <3 Then we took a nap together since we were so exhausted. Woke up, and went bowling! Yayyyyyyy. He won the first one, and then some of our friends won the other three. It was great! I dont even want to look at my bank statement to see those games, shoes, beers, and food! All on me of course. But this was for his anniversary. :p
We were going to go out to eat, but decided we werent that hungry. :( I was going to take him somewhere awesome too... Carolina Prime. They have a lobster/rib plate that I know he would love! So we came home, and cuddled, and watched some tv, and talked about the future. Now he is asleep so he can rest up before class tomorrow.
BUT he totally ruined my last present for him. :/ Stupid David. He totally ruined it. And it was gonna be an awesome surprise. Bah. Sucks for him, cause he really wanted it! <3
So, now he is sleeping and I am awake. I am making soup. Homemade! I cut up all the vegetables and made the broth and everything. But shhhh, dont tell anyone I can cook! lol. I am probably going to clean the kitchen too. Depends on how tired I get.

One of my three bestest friends in the entire world, Jason... died this morning. From a heart attack. So I have cleared my schedule for most of this week and will be in Asheville.
Please keep the family and Lindsey (the fiance) in your prayers. Lindsey really needs it right now. She is my bestest friend in the entire world and her world just crashed down. They were supposed to get their first house together next month and be married later on this year. Please pray for her. :(

Even though I write in this thing all the freaking time now, I dont write a lot of public posts. Not that anyone would necessarily want to read them, but hey... it has been like 6 months since my last public update! <3
Me and David are still going strong, four years in March! :p I graduate from school in June. Reading back over my last public posts, we never moved to Charleston, but stayed in Charlotte. David is back in school now, he wants to get his bachelors for physical education which is awesome. I am still at my amazing CAD job. I think I said I got a new car, which is still freaking awesome. :p
Me and David have been talking about the "M" word... lol. We decided that we dont want to do it until I finish grad school/he finishes undergrad. And since I am taking a year off, we should finish at exactly the same time! :p So we are looking at probably 3 or 4 more years. But I am glad... better to be sure now than have to divorce later. <3 We also want kids at exactly the same time... so there is no arguing there!
I will admit it, as a girl I just want to get married now!!!! Lol, but we both want to be on the right track in life and we know that this is best. I dont want to end up like so many of my friends trying to juggle school, career, and learning more about the other person at the same time!
I am starting my own company. Starting it out here at the mall in Charlotte, but if it gets great I might make Lindsey a store manager and she can start one out in Asheville if she is interested. No having to deal with being stuck in the 2 year old room then! <3

Me and david are settled into our new apartment nicely. We even painted some of the walls. I got accepted for the awesome CAD job I applied for *squees* which I am so excited about! Everything is going perfectly!
Right now we are in Boston visiting my daddy. David is gonna be going up to New York soon for a few weeks. I was supposed to/wanted to go but I have school and work and couldnt get off. Dave is also gonna go on the road with his dad for a week, maybe out to Arizona. Sooo, life is looking up!
I just bought a new car! OMG OMG OMG i am so excited! The best 21 birthday present ever. '02 miata convertible, it is beautiful....... <333333333 it is my dream car. As I said, everything is just going so well!
Me and david went kayacking last weekend which was amazing, we both got hugely burnt on our arms and nothing else. Makes for interesting bathing suit conversation, lol.
Caitlin never moved in with us, but that is for the better. We got two new kittens... Ariel and Simba.... and they are spoiled rotten and absoltely adorable! Everyone is trying to win them over, but i am like NOOOOOO, these are MY babies. Lol. They are just totally adorable.
Other than this, myspace blogs have owned my life. I am kinda said that it is not as easy to go back and read like LJ is, but in the end i want to focus on my future and not on my past. reading some of my past posts when me and david were not together just make me sad. :(
Anyways, I am off to myspace world! I think the only one that is gonna read this is Roe, but hey.... ya never know!

so, livejournal made some changes. and i see they posted this "journal comments" thing on the homepage now. and i havent really written a lot, and most of my friends dont do livejournal much anymore, and neither do i really, and so i havent had comments. and all three of those "latest comments" are from dec 2005 and jan 2006. i feel old now.
gosh. i am officially 21 now! and myspace and facebook are stupid and so i came on here to check up! it has been four weeks since i have last been on. cool cool.
dave did a lot of stuff for me for my birthday. i listed it all in my myspace blog so i wont relist it here. but it was amazing! <3 |

Life is so good right now. I got my teeth finished. Like 4000 dollars later. They are finally done. I am so happy! And, I have the new sonicare toothbrush. The 200 dollar one. :p And i have a wicked awesome CAD interview on thursday which i am totally excited about. And i got my taxes and fafsa and everything done. I am on top of my game! I am just procrastinating now. Yep.
And i am getting ready to go scuba diving next month <3 I am totally excited about that too! I have just been so blessed. Everything is perfect and working out to the t. I cant believe I have ever had doubts.
Our new apartment is absolutely awesome. huge. wicked. and i cant wait until caitlin moves in with us next month. yep. <3 totally awesome.
and me and david are going strong as always. everything is PERFECT!

Wow, it has been a crazy half of a year! David moved out to charlotte, we are still together and mad happy with each other. We celebrated our three year anniversary last month and went to jamaica. it was amazing. <3
other than that, in september me and david are moving to charleston, which will be wicked awesome! i dont really know what else to say. we are still together and loving it, nothing can tear us apart!
school is going good. i am about to graduate with my degree in interior design. i couldnt have done it without dave by my side. i love my baby. and ummmmmm, he is rock climbing now. he wants to be a teacher for rock climbing!
me and david and our friends are all planning a trip to maine in june and a cruise to the bahamas in september! i cant wait!
